Now that the 2008 Beijing Olympics are officially over, the U.S. won more combined medals than any other country in the world. We also have won the most silver and Bronze medals in these games.
That’s right, no one in the WORLD is better at being second place. We are even the best at being second place when it comes winning gold medals. Take that.

I refrain from talking much about politics on my blog but this one I just can’t turn away from. Just two days ago on January 30th 2007, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed Resolution 70. A resolution congratulation the UCSB Men’s Soccer Team for winning the Div. 1 NCAA Championship. 
Good to see my tax dollars going into something that actually effects my life. Congrats again gents.
