Google quitely removes ‘Tips’ from search results
January 4th, 2007 — dan.linLooks like the pressure from the Firefox wiz kid was too much for Google to handle as they quietly remove the ‘tips’ section from their search results.
Ever since the Blake Ross blog post criticized the search engine for favoring its own products, Goooooogle have been getting it from everyone. Good to see that even the biggest of giants can at least be temporarily shaken up by just one blog entry from the right person.

I find it odd that the day after we talk about it on Rotted Brain, Google removes tips.
