The Wabash Mashers

Conan O’Brien is one of the reasons why late night television is still worth watching in this post Arsenio Hall day and age. Some of his best gags are the remote shoots he produces such as this old timer baseball clip. Enjoy.

‘BAMN” the Automat opens in NYC

As a night owl, I have my fair share of the munchies in the dead of night. Just earlier this week, My friend Jeremy and I drove all over town just to find out the only place open at 4AM in Fresno is Denny’s.

Bamn is a storefront that is filled with good eats in the savory fashions of vending machines. As there is no on-site attendant, it is open when you are. Here are some photos that show just how good these robotic chefs can cook up a tasty treat. I want one!

Selections o-plenty

Fried Cheese and Fried Wings

Fried Mac-n-Cheese? Has to be good.

That doesn’t look like no burger a robot can cook!

Fries with Mayo. Just the way the europeans and Marlene like it

SPAM Sushi Nigiri! Just look at that thing and tell me you are not salivating.

LIAR!

MTV is the new BET

After watching the 2006 VMAs tonight, I am pretty sure MTV is looking to take over the BET audience. The rap, hip hop and R&B artists at least outweighs the rest by 4 to 1. It is pretty sad to see all these people who are supposedly setting examples and role models for our kids to show up on TV with the grammar skills of a second grader.

Obviously this is at the risk of sounding like an old fart but it is a prett ysad scene out there in the music industry. Even the white dudes are trying to be like street thugs. I mean, there is no business for Jared Leto to drop a reference to Diddy and Snoop during his introduction. I have never been so glad for my DVR to end prematurely as the show ran over its scheduled time. What is my problem to have watched it even for that long is beyond me.

Anyways, late, fools.
